    mr2 suggestions..

ok.. so as most of you already know i just put in a decent size order for things for the mr2..
an oem carbon fiber hood from seibon.
my replacement wheel and tire (which will soon be black and blue)
    and tein s-tech lowering springs..

I'm currently in the process of putting some apps in for another job.. just wanna earn a lil extra cash and just spend the money i make from that job on the car as opposed to spending family money..

don't really care what kind of a job i get.. im putting apps in at factories and fast food.. just a part time job.. maybe making $300 every other wk or so.. something to keep me occupied..

anyways i just wanna get some suggestions on what i should order next.. im not really worried about performance parts.. its useless to try to push any considerable power out of my n/a 2.. Although i have been considering a 75 shot of nos..

other things i've taken into consideration to order are..
    a small front lip..
    jdm taillights.
    c/f trunk
low rise headlight assembly with revision 6 headlights
getting the windows tinted.. not to dark
spyder racing seats (black with blue trim)
an in dash double din tv (sd card compatible)

any opinions.. i think i'll probably work on this entire list at some point.. i'd like to have everything mentioned, but i don't want to stretch my budget by ordering it all at once.. i'll order 1 or 2 things every 1-2 months depending on what else is going on.. I'm changing the fuel filter in the 2 next week since its still the factory one.. and i'm in the process of ordering a replacement right side t-top since mine leaks.. also.. at some point i'll probably do a c/f dash/gauge bezels, and dye the carpet and door inserts black, as having everything blue is just to much..

    opinions/suggestions.. thanks

I'd get shocks to go with your lowering springs. From the list you mentioned, since you already got a hood maybe a trunk would be good to try and keep a general balance of weight. although iirc mr2's are inherently a little off kilter toward the rear?

75 shot of nos could be at best awesome, and at worst a ginormous headache + huge money sink. I'd really let someone else offer you advice on that who has more experience with using it (NAWSssssss).

Racing seats look tacky IMO, but maybe getting the stock seats refinished in something fancy, micro suede or leather would be pretty slick. Thats my plan for the 300zx eventually someday. (Hopefully! )

What about something like a bushing kit to go with those shocks/springs, and then you'll have a pretty fresh feeling handling I bet. Add adjustable toe rods and camber adjustable control arms, and bam. Trackrat.

    Re: mr2 suggestions..

there are actually koni yellow adjustable struts already installed.. which is the only reason i ordered springs and not an entire coilover kit. a camber kits installed and both front lower control arms have been replaced as of 5,000 miles ago.. the 2 already handles like a dream.. but i don't need anything track ready until i purchase a new car at the end of the year which is awhile away.. actually if i do get another job i'll send my first 6 or 7 checks out to order things for the mr2 and then i'll probably go ahead and get another car.. we could put $1000 down on a 7/8k car and i could easily afford car payments of $350 and insurance on it.. katies really wanting a 5spd 98-99 vtech accord, but i'm probably going to try to push that in a different direction..

the racing seats that i want aren't super flashy.. theyre from andysautosport.com and honestly they don't look to much different from the stock seats.. they're only $299 a pair.. which in my opinion is a deal for something that's comfortable for a dd.. i imagine having the stock seats refinished would cost around the same if not more..
another reason for ordering seats would be that, with the mr2 being our only car i can't have it unavailable to us for very long at all..

the 75shot wouldn't be used much at all.. maybe 1 or 2 times at the track if i ever decide to take it out.. i'd probably tune it down a bit for DD fun, but i'm not one to flip the switch everytime someone revs at me.. it'd be used responsibly.

um.. es no.. nawsssssss is for go fast.. no v-6..
gonna be saving up for some newer toys come summer time.. hopefully an older (94-95)gsr or 92 vtech civ hatch si.. my wifes also very adamant about wanting a bike. so we may end up getting a couple a little later.. the mr2 will not be a go fast car.. i've already made up my mind about that.. if i had started with the turbo base then maybe i'd build it.. but no swaps, not now.. not later..
