Does anyone know of a local shop where I can get porting done? If so, where at and how much? Thanks!

What are you planning to port? The site sponsors would be the place to start. Kennedy is a good machine shop and should be good for custom work; SR has a flow machine they use to work on all of the VW heads and intakes they sell. If you are just working on your exhaust mani or turbo, that i something you can tackle yourself.
It's a JM Fabrications o2 housing with external dump. I need it done some time in the next month or so.

I'd give Jim a call over at SR Racing. See what we can do for you.
What is there to port on a tubular stainless steel o2 housing?

gasket matching?
I port Mitsu turbos. But I'm not a site sponsor or a vendor. So......

i could also port this for you. I have done many subaru exhaust manifolds and intake manifolds. If you are just looking for a gasket match it would be no problem. Any of the shops mentioned are more than capable but will charge you more than its worth to have it done. I wouldnt pay more than about 25 bucks for what your looking for if you decide to take it to them.
Hey thanks for the input guys, I was looking for a gasket match, should've said that in the original post. I'm going to weigh my options and decide in the next week or two. Thanks again!

gasket matching is actually pretty simple, all you would need is some tools. A dremel will do the job with the right bit, it will just take a while. Do you have an air compressor?
A Dremel will take a LONG time if you are using it on old cast iron. An air powered die-grinder is the only way to go if you want it done in a reasonable time.

I have a dremel Advantage. it has a lot more torque and a much bigger motor than the standard dremels. Paired with a carbide pit its pretty solid for porting. Nothing beats air tools though(if you have a big enough compressor)

i would say an electric die grinder would be best. Thats what all the big port guys use anyway. Never bogs down, never gets down on air pres. Either way....good luck and let me know if i can help.
