Looks awesome +1 on the older MS3 looking way better than the new model. Its that new front end they are putting on all of the new mazdas and it ruins every one of them I think.

Ive never plasti-dipped before but ive been looking into after i saw your post, doesnt seem to hard, whats your opinion lol?

It's no way a permanent solution. It will peel off. He is suggesting painting them to see what it looks like. If you don't like it, you can just peel it off. If you DO like it, You will still have to peel it off and paint them for real.
