New (to me) car - 2003 Azure Blue Mach 1

Obligatory once every 6 months post.

Picked this up over the weekend, and I am in my in love stage currently. I am keeping my Prius as my DD here (If you have ever encountered beltway traffic, you'll understand), and this will be something to drive occasionally and play with.

2003 Azure Blue Mach 1 5 Speed

Only mods are 18" FR500s, K&N intake, a bit of overkill in the billet accessory department on the inside, and someone put the chrome housed headlights on in place of the stock black housed headlights (one of the first things I am going to do is fix this).

Has the Mach 460 sound and the IUP (Interior upgrade package). It is very, very clean. Feels and pulls great.

Here are a couple of phone pictures of it sitting on the lot. I will take it out for proper pictures after I fix the headlight issue.







Not sure on the future, but probably nothing drastic for the time being.

I tend to not bring it with me to car dealerships, haha.

Also, I am going to replace the headlights before I take it out for a photoshoot. The chrome headlights just annoy me, though they were stock on some Mustangs.

Yeah.. they were stock on most of the gay ones.. I have no idea why someone would ditch the nice smoked ones for them.. Oh well. The scoot looks good man!

Dustin - I don't think so, though anything is possible.

Given the absurd amount of billet on the interior, I think the previous owner may have just liked things to be a bit "more flashy" if you will. Replacing these things is as easy as removing 2 pull out tabs and disconnecting the bulbs. These look to be nearly brand new (I took them off last night while thinking about doing a blackhouse diy, but changed my mind) and they are pretty much flawless. These and the blackhouse ones are the same price on ebay too. The bumper appears to be the stock bumper and the carfax is clean, so I don't think it was wrecked. I could always be wrong though.

Nice looking ride, I agree ditching some of the chrome will do wonders for the car. Glad to see you're getting something to kind of balance the whole rolling vagina/prius in your life. Enjoy it

love me some sonic blue mach 1's. i really want a competition orange '03-'04 cobra. but a mach 1 with a procharger would suffice.
