    Default Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds - Ky Eleanor

    Hello all - thought I would share some of the pictures of my Eleanor I just completed. It took me 3.5 years to complete. It was a 1 Owner 1967 Mustang GT Fastback I found beside a house on Alexiandria Drive in Lexington KY. The body was in pretty decent shape considering the age. I was told that they parked the car some time in the early 80's when it failed to start. I always loved these body styles and especially fell in love with the car in the movie Gone in 60 Seconds.

    About the car - I tried to stay as "movie correct" as possible when I built this car. Its the correct colors - Dupont Pepper Grey Metallic with Black Metallic stripe. It has a Mustangs to Fear body kit, 347 Stroker motor, original block, AFR 185 Heads, Scat Crank, Mahle Pistons, 3/4 Cam, Stainless Works (Ohio) 3 inch X pipe exhaust. Tremec T-5z transmission, 3:55 LSD rear, Heidts Quad Link with Aluminum coil overs, Go Baby Go shifter knob etc.

    I prefer the way you picked it up. Sorry, but that's such an overdone theme. Not just for Mustangs, but for all cars. I love that green that was on it, and the patina looked awesome.

    Regardless, it looks like it was done right at least.
