My new toy...

I sold my grey coupe to Bill over the fall, he is in the process of doing a turbo install on it. So, I replaced it with my (new to me) '89 Mustang coupe.





It went in the paint booth this weekend. I went with World Rally Blue, this is base coat only. We plan on putting clear on tomorrow and starting in on the fenders, doors, etc.

And the other goods: 408, SVO block, TFS r-series heads, TFS r-series intake, Kooks headers on order and other various goodies we haven't got on yet. And at some point, it'll have the bottle on it

Thanks for the comments! We should start making some good headway with it now that we've finally got it painted, that had things stalled for a couple weeks. This coming weekend we should start putting it all back together. My tranny should be done in Feb, I'm having a c4 built for it. Fingers crossed it'll be at the track March/April.

I thought about putting a Subie decal somewhere, I joke around calling it my Subiestang, lol.

I finally got the headers in last week. It took forever to get them, but everybody we talked to said Kooks were the ones to use with those heads. We should be ordering the cam this week I think. Most of my fuel system will also be in this week, and we are going to order everything for the rearend in the next couple of weeks. Sending my tranny off next month to get built. We started running the wiring and putting in the glass tonight. Could possibly have the doors on it tomorrow, not sure yet, depends on my paint guy. It's slowly but surely getting there!
