So I have never run my car as hard as I did saturday. I was following a LS2 Vette through some back country roads and was in the 27-29 psi range for about 8-10 min solid with breaking for curves. At the end the coolant levels were under 200. The car however was spuddering under the slightest load or acceleration. I limped it home and let it cool off. After 2 hours of cooling everything was perfect again. Boosting 29psi and no studdering or spuddering. I have not run it that hard since but I have boosted to 30 several times.

My question is what could be suffering from heat and affecting engine performance but not when cool?

He said if I can get it running and moving I can have it for fifty bucks. Well, I got it running and driving fairly easily today. I was thinking about getting it and dropping an srt4 motor in it and gutting it......track car. Just looking for opinions. Has anyone ever heard of this being done before? Do you think its worth it?

Sup guys, so at the last dyno meet at sr racing I had that red lightning. It put down 350hp and 430tq. That was with a k&n air filter and a off road mid pipe.

But today I should be getting in a shipment from LFP.com, I ordered a 3lb lower pully 90mm mass and a sct tunner with a pre tune made by them. Ive changed my upper pully since the dyno to a 2.8'' which gave me about +1 psi. So over all its going to be +4psi at the end of the day.

Theres a guy on youtube that has the same mods that I have. With a street tune he put down 400hp and 489tq. This should put y truck in the low 13's or high 12's with slicks.

Hey Sentra people, I'm trying to decide what to do to my car next. So far I have:

K&N complete cold air intake

Megan Racing 4-1 header

header-back 2.5" exhaust

Magnaflow high-flow catalytic converter

Thrush glasspack

some random dual-tip Magnaflow-knockoff muffler from Exhaust Pro (made in China 0.o)

Eibach Sportline springs (switching these for something else soon :p ... hopefully)

What would be some cheap ways to get the most out of the engine? I've been told motor mount inserts will help with wheel hop, a wideband + SAFCII will help general performance, and a throttle body spacer can help with response time. Are there any other ideas? What should I put as priority (most bang for buck) (I wish I had unlimited funds and do absolutely everything in the best way possible, but alas I can not)? Also, in the mods I already have, is there anything that sticks out as "holy balls, why the hell did you do that?" Unfortunately, right when I got the car, I got a little mod-happy and just threw on whatever without much research... stupid on my part... oh well.

I am just fishing for ideas... I think my first priority right now is getting the suspension switched out so the ride isn't so jaw-shatteringly harsh. I may be looking to add more in a few months, however, if I can save enough dough.

TL;DR - In 1759, Arthur Guinness leased St James’s Gate brewery (where they brew Guinness) for 9,000 years for 45 pounds a year.

So I have Eibach Sportline springs on my spec-v. They lower it 1.8" I believe. I have a bad feeling that my struts are going out, so I started looking for new ones. Koni Yellow only works with 1.5" of drop or less, and most other brands say 1" or less. Does anyone know of a brand that will work with 1.8"? I was hoping to not spend too much, but I may end up saving as long as possible and getting coilovers... ideas??

Sup guys. Honda is gone now and want to upgrade my subi a little and I heard there was some subi owners here that could help me. It's bone stock right now and I'd like to up the boost to 15psi and put some springs on it to lower the ride a little. So a couple questions:

1) Cobb accessport: Is it worth it or is there someone local that can give me a flash and tune cheaper (but dependable)

2) What springs would you recommend? I don't want it slammed just a little stiffer in the corners 1"~2"

3) Exhaust: Would just doing cat deletes free up the stock exhaust for stage II or do I need to replace it all?

I'm not looking to make this a racecar, it's my daily and I usually have the family in it. Let's just say I got about $1000 to spend.

All info is appreciated.

So, I've decided *not* to go the Viper route (for now)... which frees me up to start playing with...

So, I've decided not to go the Viper route (for now)... which frees me up to start playing with the Challenger again.

For those playing at home, the Challenger already has:

Electric Exhaust Cutouts
Mopar/KW Suspension with 1” Lowering
Mopar/Corsa Exhaust
Billet Catch Can & Engine Dress
Precision Torque Converter (3200 RPM)
1000-HP Halfshafts
Wavetrac Limited Slip Differential
Richmond 3.55 Ring & Pinion Gear
Vortech supercharger @ 10 psi with custom tune

To that I'm now considering adding:
85mm throttle body
Longtube headers
High-flow cats
Water-meth injection
Retune for meth

Total cost should be under $4000 including parts and labor (waiting on the final quote back, this is just eyeballing it)

Thoughts, particularly on the meth? I've considered it before (and had the developer offer one of those "you'll be the first, so we'll do it cheap!" deals, that I respectfully declined) but now I'm re-thinking.

End goal is to try to get a 10-second pass out of the Challenger. It's done 11.3x several times now. That last .3 sec is killing me. All this is also being done with the intent of keeping it a streetable car. Will possibly have 2 tunes done that I can flip-flop with 5 minutes' notice, one not meth-dependent for daily driving and one specifically where it takes advantage of it, for racing.
